 with the response to the 2024 Vanuatu earthquake as a case study. This is 
 a continuation of our series of talks in AWEMS with a focus on Women in Wi
 lderness Medicine. Shell Piercy is a dual-qualified Registered Nurse and P
 aramedic with extensive operational experience across wilderness\, expedit
 ion\, military\, remote and isolated healthcare environments throughout Au
 stralia\, New Zealand and the Pacific. Her clinical background includes em
 ergency\, remote primary healthcare\, trauma care\, community paramedicine
 \, alpine and wilderness emergency\, retrieval\, and expedition health sup
 port. She served in the NZ military in both ordinary ranks and as a commis
 sioned officer. She worked extensively with rural\, remote\, and Indigenou
 s communities\, delivering healthcare in austere and resource-limited sett
 ings. An experienced clinician\, educator\, and health system leader\, She
 ll is passionate about preparing healthcare professionals to operate safel
 y and effectively in challenging environments. She currently serves as Chi
 ef Paramedic Officer for Northern Territory Health and is an Honorary Clin
 ical Associate Professor with Charles Darwin University.This webinar is ac
